The Keret House in Warsaw, Poland is one of the world’s skinniest houses designed by architect Jakub Szczęsny of Centrala. One enters the house from the street through a stairway that goes up directly to the floor of the first level.
Constructed in a small alley between two buildings, the tiny micro house is called an “art installation” in Poland because it is too small to be a residence under Polish law.
Named after Israeli writer Etgar Keret, who was the first travelling artist to use it as a temporary home, this compact structure is 5 feet at its widest point and 3 feet at its narrowest point, for a total floor space of 44 square feet.
The cozy house comes with a kitchen, a bedroom with a desk and a bathroom.
