The Chelsea House in London, England got a modern makeover by Markam Associates. Wood flooring and glass dominate. Small colourful touches highlight the clean lines. The 2,800 sq. ft. home was refurbished with new staircase and conservatory. The interior decor is a modern tribute to Hollywood.
The Hotel Castille Paris in the heart of fashionable Paris, France on Rue Cambon has been redecorated and refurbished to bring 21st century modern elegance to this 18th century hotel. Located near the Louvre, the Opera Garnier and the Place Vendôme, the Castille Paris offers beautifully decorated rooms of traditional Venetian inspired decor or elegant contemporary atmosphere. The interior design has a simple elegant style with soft relaxing colours that ensures peace and tranquility.
This eye-catching building is the home office of The Longaberger Company in Newark, Ohio. Longaberger — a basket manufacturer — commissioned NBBJ Architects and Korda Nemeth Engineering to construct the seven-storey building which was completed in 1997. The Longaberger gold leaf painted tags are attached to the sides of the building along with two basket handles on the top.
The Schnabel House in Brentwood, California — built in 1989 and designed by world renowned architect Frank Gehry, whose works include the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao — recently had a major renovation to bring it forward to the 21st century.

Saffire Freycinet is a stunning new resort located on the Freycinet Peninsula in Tasmania, Australia. This boutique hotel overlooks Great Oyster Bay, and close-by is the internationally acclaimed Wineglass Bay. The resort’s interesting architecture was designed by Morris Nunn and Associates. The building’s roof line resembles the Hazards Mountains in the background and the suites below are like waves peeling on the shores. The simple contemporary interior design by Chhada Siembieda (CHADA) harmonizes with the pristine environment. The use of timber and stone creates a seamless feel between the inside and outside.
The Krzywy Domek “Crooked House” is an unusual piece of architecture located on Monte Cassino Street in Sopot, Poland. Completed in 2004, the building was designed by Szotyńscy & Zaleski who were inspired by the fairytale illustrations and drawings of Jan Marcin Szancer and Per Dahlberg as well as designs by Antoni Gaudí. The magical effect draws many visitors to the property which houses restaurants, cafés and shops.
