The refurbishment of this 40 square meter (430 sq. ft.) apartment in Tel-Aviv, Israel transformed a studio apartment into a functional one bedroom apartment.
Designed by Sfaro Architects, the kitchen, bathroom and storage space are concentrated in the middle with a 360 degree circulation around the apartment.
Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea in the old port city of Jaffa, Tel Aviv, Israel, this contemporary apartment was completely redesigned by Pitsou Kedem Architects. The structure of the original building — which is hundreds of years old — features stone arches which were preserved to merge with the contemporary minimalist interiors.

Mamilla Hotel is an intimate and elegant sanctuary with views of the Old City Walls in the heart of Jerusalem, Israel. The exterior architecture by Moshe Safdie uses Jerusalem Stone as required by municipal law to maintain the aesthetic traditions of the city. With nearby Alrov Mamilla Avenue and historic buildings, the hotel rises out of the network of alleys which connect the old walled city and the new Jerusalem. The interior design by Piero Lissoni is retro-modern which blends in seamlessly with Safdie’s modern classic architecture.

Architectural firm Sfaro designed a brilliant floorplan for this small apartment in Tel-Aviv, Israel that makes efficient use of its space. With only 59 square meters (635 sq. ft.) of space, the architects managed to create two bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room, a dining area and a spacious kitchen. All the rooms are connected by sliding doors allowing a great flow of energy.
The Scots Hotel Tiberias is a boutique hotel situated in an 120-year-old historical compound on the shore of the Sea of Galilee in Tiberias, Israel. This former hospital was later transformed into a luxury boutique hotel by the Church of Scotland. 19th century basalt stone buildings and a newer building form the hotel which produces a synergy between old and new. The interior decoration combines the historical character of the buildings with modern comfort. Rooms in the old buildings are constructed from basalt rock. The original architectural style is carefully preserved which provides an atmosphere of serenity and mystery.
