This stunning luxury home north of Chicago, Illinois is a resort-like residence overlooking Lake Michigan.
Designed by Morgante Wilson Architects in collaboration with Andrea Goldman Design, the team balanced a vacation ambience with the more formal architectural touches.
The living room and kitchen are the heart of the home, enjoying stunning vista of the lake. The two rooms are connected through arched doorways and a secret bar that opens up for entertaining. Arches throughout the house connect spaces and create a rhythm to passageways.
The palette has a coastal, relaxed feel, amplifying the lake views by echoing its blue hues. A two-level paneled library has a more masculine tone in gray.
An indoor pool opens to the lawn outside and private lakeside beach.
