A redesigned grand estate in Greenwich, Connecticut transformed the backyard into a dreamy private escape with timeless garden and terrace.
Lynn Morgan Design, architectural firm Mitchell Studio and landscape architect James Doyle Design Associates (JDDA) worked on the renovation project.
A series of garden rooms, including a bluestone terrace with an alfresco eating area, and destinations were created. Distinct changes in elevation were incorporated into the design. Each area is characterized by structural green plantings, and furnishings with bold colors enhance the landscape.
Inside the house, the interior design features a cheerful palette of blue and white, with pops of color and touches of whimsy.
