Holman House, designed by Durbach Block Jaggers Architects, sits on a dramatic 70-meter (230 feet) high cliff in Dover Heights, in the eastern suburb of Sydney, Australia. The living and dinning areas cantilever out over the ocean, providing dramatic views of the coastline and the ocean. The lower floor base is built from rough stone walls forming an extension of the cliff below.

Situated on Thailand’s Chaweng Beach in Koh Samui, The Library is an elegant minimalist resort hotel designed by architect and interior designer Tirawan Songsawat. The simple architecture and interior balances with the surrounding natural environment. The Library Building located by the beach is a white building with big glass window panes. It serves as a mini-café, a library for books, music CDs and movie DVDs. The rooms have elegant and simple interior decor. Bold colour scheme against pure white walls is echoed by the red swimming pool and white library building.
Yucca Lounge in Shanghai, China is a cocktail lounge with modern Mexican feel. The interior design is by Shanghai-based design agency Dariel Studio. Inspired by Mexican art with touches of Salvador Dali, Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo, the Yucca Lounge is a surrealist bar room with daring colours and design in trendy Shanghai.
Cornwall Terrace in London, England is a row of eight double-fronted mansions overlooking Regent’s Park. The total value of the entire row of house is about $625 million and is now up for sale. The largest of the residences is 14,000-sq.-ft. and is worth about $100 million. The Regency terrace was designed by royal architect John Nash in the early 19th Century. The architectural details of the interiors offer paneling, mouldings, marble floors and fireplaces which are enhanced by contemporary interior decoration.
The Semiramis Hotel in affluent Kifissia, a northern suburb of Athens, Greece is a luxury boutique hotel with cutting edge contemporary interior design. Industrial designer Karim Rashid used his signature bright lively colours to create a futuristic atmosphere of comfort and functionality. The playful mix of textures and materials such as plastic, coloured concrete and rubber is a theme of the hotel interior decor.
