Swimming On Top Of The World’s Most Expensive Hotel
Marina Bay Sands in Singapore is an integrated resort with three 55-storey towers capped by a boat-shaped 340 meters long SkyPark with a 150 meters infinity swimming pool. This impressive resort developed by Las Vegas Sands and designed by Moshe Safdie Architects cost approximately S$8 billion (over US$6 billion) to build. The 16-hectre resort combines a casino, 2,560 rooms, two theatres, a shopping mall, restaurants, a Museum of ArtScience and world class convention facilities. The project’s foreground — composed of the ArtScience Museum, an outdoor event plaza along the promenade and the grand arcade — serves as a base from which the hotel towers rise.
Bunny Lane House: A Cottage Inside A Giant Shed
Architect Adam Kalkin created a quirky and fun house in New Jersey called Bunny Lane House. Essentially, this is a cozy traditional house inside a giant futuristic shed that looks like an industrial container. It’s a mix of traditional home design and modern home design. The property sits on 3 acres of land, and once you open the shed doors, the space opens to the big country with lots of trees. Inside the shed, the large living area is a great place to relax under the shelter. If you want something even more intimate, just hop inside the traditional cottage with all the coziness of a country home.
Movable Contemporary Fireplace
Eclypsya fireplace is a stylish stainless steel contemporary fireplace that you can move around the house both indoor and outdoor. Pre-installed connectors in various locations of the house let you attach the steel ball to the pipe in the crawl space that takes the air up the chimney. You can also move the steel ball 360 degrees to face any direction. When the fireplace is not in use and moved, a concrete plate covers the connector freeing up space in the room.

Situated on a hill overlooking Atami, Japan southwest of Tokyo, this spectacular ocean view villa has a striking oval dinning room that appears to be on an island surrounded by water. Designed by architect Kengo Kuma, this glass house in which water is also a key component has the effect of a structure floating on water. The oval dinning room is connected to the rest of the house by a glass corridor. The infinity-edge reflecting pool connects the house to the ocean and the coastline.
